Thank you so much for your words. I just turned seventeen last week so driving her to the vets myself wasn’t an option for me. I wanted to make sure she was comfortable and warm so I just sat with her on my bed the full day. I just wish there was a way she could still be here with me. Thanks againHello. I saw your Rainbow post and decided to read any other information about Fairy. Well what I've read and know about piggies what has happened is very sad and shocking. I don't know your age but I'll guess early teens. When something happens unexpected and it's new and we don't know what to do. It's hard lass very. depending on a lift to vets is out of your control etc. In my option I think you did great and well done. you did your best and she died with you around. your voice. your smell. You young lady did good in the circumstances. Big Hugs.

Comfort yourself with knowing that she is now pain free and healthy and having a lovely time at the Rainbow Bridge and is popcorning away with all of her new friends and she is waiting there for you. I know lass. It's really is hard. I put up pictures and they upset me but now I look at them and have a smile and secret miss you. xx. It works.

Don't worry what Kath thinks David! I don't worry about what my OH thinks! If it helps just do it that's what I say! When I lost my lovely Mum 2 years ago I had loads of photos everywhere, now I only have a few.

I know, that makes it so difficult. The last two pigs we lost were similar... normal the night before, a bit off in the morning resulting in a vet visit, passed away in the evening. It was very much a shock.

I'm sure fairy will have made firm friends with my boar Pedro over rainbow bridge. Pedro went to rainbow bridge in May so he'll be looking after fairy there I'm sure xx
It must have been such a shock! But you tried your best for her, you couldn't have done any more. She is happy and free of suffering now over the rainbow bridge! Take care of yourself, perhaps give the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement helpline a call if you feel it might help? x
I’m a lot better. We’ve gotten a little memorial stone with her name on it for the garden which I really appreciate and I kept a few strands of her hair, it really helps to know that I’ve still got a little peice if her with me. Thanks xI've only just caught up here, I'm so very sorry
