Emergency - two lumps found!

I am glad it was benign, at least you've not got to worry about the lump any more!

bless you all! she's doing really well, she's made me so proud! she really has amazed me by her inner and outer strength, her ability to want to get better. the vet told us that pheobe was popcorning, being nosey and chattering away to everyone straight after coming round from her op. what does that tell you about her? that she's got an amazing sense of self and a desire to be well.

Definitely a piggie with attitude! Some really have it, and sadly so many don't! It makes all the difference to how they recover from things.

she's always been a bit fiesty, with a strong love for her fellow pigs. such a strong love that whenever she was scared over a certain noise when she was little, she'd jump on top of Ruby to protect her. Ruby's always been top pig, so she definately wasn't bullying her! she kicks up a fuss if you go to pick her up and she'll shout you if she wants a cuddle or some attention, she's so funny! she'll be sat on my lap, all sleepy and comfy, then all of a sudden she'll chatter her teeth at you as if to say, "put me back now b!tch!" LOL! honestly, she's such a madam but that's what makes me love her! I truly adore her and couldn't imagine my life without her. I don't think I'd be happy now if I never got to be owned by Pheobe.

The name Pheobe means bright and sparkley, and I tell you what, that is what she is! She wraps us round her little paw so easily! She's worth it though.

:(|):(|) She certainly makes sure you know exactly what she wants then! You have another one like Pops on your hands there!

I tell you something, I have five piggies with strong characters and heaps of attitude! All so different to each other!

Pheobe's a day dreamer, I swear she dreams about taking over the world! She looks after the others, but also doesn't let anything happen that she doesn't want happening!

Ruby's Top pig, she's a very greedy and very lazy piggy, her only exercise is dragging food into her sleeping area to hide from the others and eat! She's very possessive of Maggie-May and likes to hump! rolleyes")

Bethany seems so quiet, but she actually loves attention and will happily be cuddled for as long as you have time! She's often getting her hair cut by Ruby (our local hairdresser!)! She adores Pheobe and is slowly becoming a right trouble maker, I swear she does Pheobe's dirty work!

Maggie-May! What can I say about Mags? Well, she doesn't like being picked up, but once she is, she absolutely melts and looks up at you with such adoration in her eyes. She looks up to Ruby, but likes everyone! She doesn't like the others sleeping whilst she's awake though, she often goes up to a sleepy piggy and wheeks as loud as she can to wake them up, then races off! Very naughty girl!

Sonny is a cheeky chappy! If he was human, he'd definately be a cockney! He grins and smirks and is possibly the loudest pig on record! He likes to throw his food, bowls and accessories around the cage and chew on his bars, anything to make a racket! He also follows you if you put him down, he likes this game, then when you turn round to pick him up, he scarpers! The only way to get him is by putting a female within smelling distance!

that's exactly what I think when I read about Pops! Pops actually looks a lot like one of Pheobe and Ruby's litter mates! She wasn't born on the 1st of feb 2008 was she?!

Yay glad you don't have to worry about the lump and your piggies sound so cute!

Your post when I posted about maybe going and getting the boy from that shop is the one that swayed me into getting him. Your Sonny means the world to you. :)

No Pops is quite a bit older than that. However, there is every chance she was born on the 1st February 2005. We had a piggie called Badger who was born on 1st April 2005. He was definitely a piggie with attitude and came through so much. Sadly he died just before his second birthday from cancer. All the attitude in the world couldn't save him then! 8...

Maybe there is something about piggies born on the 1st of the month!

I am so glad for you that all is well again and you need not to worry anymore - what a nice pre-wedding nerves present! :)):)):))

What type of benign tumour was it?
Are you a dance enthusiast?

A "beguine" is a type of dance!
I did not see you at HH open day event.

I can imagine! I know what it cost me when I lost my Minx to her bladder stone trouble, despite my best efforts!

it must've been horrible. this whole situation basically reminded me that all creatures have mortitalty, everyone is born, they live and they die. It's the sad thing about life. I had told Pheobe I wasn't ready to lose her and I'm sure she fought to come through so well to be here for me. I've been so ill with my fibromyalgia today and Pheobe has been there for me all day.
