Shredded wheat goes soft with milk! Ah! that's what I needed! Milk! To soften the hay! Genius! I'll remember that! In case there's a next time.
 
I prefer them crunchy, although not sure chewing hah fits in with a dodgy jaw, but hey ho - who sticks to rules? ;) at least with hay you can just chew IT and get a vibe of the taste.... Rather than bits of cardboard that choke you to death

haha oh my I cant believe you actually tried them. When I was younger I always wondered what the choc drops tasted like, I never tried them though but I used to give them to my younger cousin and tell her they were chocolate :)
 
@chelle83 They're much less chocolatey than you'd think, more like wax with a weird powdery texture!

......I think we might all be freaks
 
@chelle83 It wasn't one of my finest moments, I had some yoghurt drops from an advent calendar that I wasn't giving the boys, got the OH to try them... apparently they were very sweet, so I has a nibble... they were sweet, nastily so!

Tasted like something familiar.... can't think what though. Kind of yummy... but a bit of a strong aftertaste!
 
I once found a packet of "chocolate buttons" opened just lying around in the shop I was very young quickly popped one in my mouth little did I know they were some kind of dog meaty treat I reluctantly swallowed as I didn't want to draw attention to myself never have I eaten anything lying around in a shop since. x :clap:
 
Woah, this thread is really weird, but really really funny at the same time hahahaha

I didn't try any pellet, but my OH did. And he agrees on the cardboard taste, but he says they weren't that bad... XD
 
I think your all nuts, then again I can't deal with the whole non-human food thing, so maybe that clouded my taste buds.
 
I still have some of their old gerty guinea pig food, so I got curious and had a taste of a green pellet... now dont call me a weirdo but I loved it. So then I had to try there pellets they are on now... and I was nearly sick!
 
Our boy Duke had quite a few doses of baytril which they assured me would taste nicer with flavouring (usually watermelon) :vom::vom::vom: WRONG. Baytril is feral period!!
Metacam blah also :vom:

Just tried our budgies crumbles last time I open packet.... Crunchy but with a slight flavour not going back for more :))
