Senior Guinea Pig
When I got my pigs last month my mum reminded me that cucumber from the fridge gave my childhood guinea pig, Sam, diarrhoea (that was over 25 yrs ago, so I can't remember).
Anyway, because of this I've been making sure that any veg/ salad stuff that's been in the fridge comes out the night before. There's no heating in my kitchen so it's quite cool but still the veg/ salad still ends up limp and a bit lifeless. This is just going to be worse when the weather warms up.
So, my question is, do you feed foods straight from the fridge or not?
Thanks in advance for any help.
