Pino is a bit more active and has got a tiny bit more appetite. I hope so much that the antibiotic will help and that he will get well again.

I'm a bit worried about Vicky but I hope it's just the fear that whatever makes Pino ill could also affect the girls.
Bonny was such a greedy eater that everypig had to eat fast. Without Bonny neither Vicky nor Kylie show much interest in food.

I think the girls are grieving as you are
They are such little characters that losing be of their clan will probably affect them like it has you
I understand the worry you have …hopefully in the coming days Pino will get better and the girls will adjust

The results of the bacterial culture are back. Streptococci were found.
So now I'm hoping that the antibiotic Pino is on at the moment will work. The alternative would have more side effects.
He is still not back to eating normally but he is more active. This evening we had some zoomies from Pino. And Vicky joined in for a bit.

Good to know what you’re dealing with.
Hopefully the antibiotics will work and clear the streptococci.
The meds may be affecting his appetite as well as feeling under the weather.

Yes, that's a possibilty. Next week I'll have a talk with the vet about how long the antibiotics should be given.

He is definitely more active and eating better. But his appetite is still not where I would like it to be. His weight was stable during the last week (at about 750 g). He has done a bit of exploring again, we have had some zoomies.
But after a day when I think "That's the turnaround, now he is starting to be back to normal", the next day won't be that good.
So it's small progress but the AB seems to be working.
 
The girls are okay. Kylie is still Kylie but she has been more relaxed the last few days. It has been a quiet week without any vet visits or going elsewhere. That's what they need at the moment.
I think they are settling into the new group life. Vicky has been zooming a bit with Pino. One evening I even thought that she might follow Pino to my study - Pino thought so as well - but she changed her mind at the last minute.
Sometimes Pino is sitting with the girls but he is still spending most of the time in his favourite hidey.
 
Ah small steps ….. hopefully with his weight stable he is improving ❤️

Also good that the girls are ok ….Kylie more relaxed 😂 that’s good !
