Glad Freddy is back to his old self again!
Lovely, well done Freddie and Freddie's momSo Freddy is maintaining his weight now 5 weeks after his lump was found
( he never did put the 110g back on he lost at the beginning )
He is loving life….. doing his usual piggy things, importantly eating, drinking, weeing and pooping
The lump is smaller and moves and doesn’t bother him if I touch it
I weigh him every other day now and stopped his syringe food this week as it was only 10ml a day
I’m hoping he’ll carry on for years ….
He quite happily jumps into a cuddle sack now so 5 weeks of syringe food 2x daily has taught him that it’s ok and something nice happens![]()
That’s a wonderful update, I’m glad your cute gentlemen are doing wellHello @thewheakybeans and thank you for asking
I’ve just done their health checks
Geoff is showing signs of being an older piggy … he’s 6.7 yrs now
I can feel he’s a little boney at his back end but he is the same gentle happy piggy.
Weight is the same and his appetite is good - poops healthy and lots of them - he needs his impaction sorting every few days but he’s used to that and a cookie after is always great
Freddy is great his lump has got smaller and as it moves it’s hard to find it. I couldn’t find it today . It doesn’t bother him
He still has redness on his back feet but has ever since I got him ( nearly 2 yrs ago) and I’m aware he tends to stay on his feet even when sleeping !
He runs about like a baby piggy and despite all my handling he hates been held but we get thru it. Even doing a nail clip
He loves his veggies, his porridge oats and everything really
We have happy days every day nothing is off limits
Both boys bring me such joy![]()
Espresso is very much into Aperol that she is wishing for another ginger boar in her life - maybe Geoff can be a candidate? Perhaps also more age appropriate given she’s 5 in DecemberOh and Geoff and Freddy were asking how Expresso and Aperol are ?
They hope they’re causing mischief …..as if altho I know they live a carrot cottage
I hope the piggies are well and enjoying the cooler weather
How is Expresso ?
Hello gorgeous boysBoys are happy and doing what piggies love to do.
I’ve managed to pick some fresh grass for them
Freddy is fine and no issues with the lump …most times I can’t find it.
Geoff says hello to lovely Aperol - he’s a handsome Ginger pig![]()
Great to hear your boys are doing well... Would love to pet a skinny pig, I've never held one before.
Aperol says hello to his fellow ginger comrade Gentle Geoff!I’m glad the boys are enjoying feasting on grass and doing well. Freddy’s wrinkles are just adorable! Hope the lump remains for the most part hidden and unobtrusive.
