Geoff and Freddy

It’s been 4 months since his lump was discovered and he’s doing really well - eating well, running about , still objecting to his health check ….
I’m making sure both boys have happy days every day 🥰

Funny how Geoff has manners and eats from the bowl , while Freddy sticks both feet and and up ends it 😂 still they both get equal dibs 😁
I can tell Geoff is becoming a bit bonier around his bottom ( he’s nearly 7) but his weight is good, appetite good and whilst he is sleeping more and a bit slower he is enjoying his days ❤️
Freddy is still whizzing round , getting into mischief and always on the look out for food and enjoying his days❤️
( no problems with the lump)

Aww, that's such an adorable photo.
 
So it’s very sad to write this but my darling Freddy has died.
I found him this am.
He was 4 yrs and 1 month and 15 days.
He’d passed his recent health check and had seemed his usual self.
I did notice at bedtime he didnt rush for his porridge oats or his bedtime snack but was eating his hay.
He had a lump under his chin which was found in May but I decided not to put him thru a ga to get a biopsy done and then further surgery.
I knew that could shorten his life.

He was a lovely boy , full of mischief , always running about at full speed , hated being handled but would take food or pea flakes from me.
Geoff seems ok , bumbling along as he does, eating his breakfast
I’ve left Freddy there so Geoff can say his goodbyes
I’ll struggle with that

Gosh I'm sorry to hear about Freddy. He was such a gentle soul and so sweet. Poor Geoff and you.

Oh Roselina, what a terrible morning you've had. It's never nice to walk into the piggy room only to discover one of our beloved potatoes has toddled off to the Rainbow Bridge. He went on his own terms, with his friend beside him surrounded by love. You gave Freddy a life full of love and happy todays and that's all a piggy wants and needs. Popcorn high at the Rainbow Bridge lovely Freddy.

I am so sorry for your loss.
Freddy was such a handsome boy.
He passed away peacefully in his own home, surrounded by those who loved him.
He had such a wonderful life with you.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve.
