Junior Guinea Pig
Hi
Very sadly we have just had to have our beautiful Mikey euthanised. This has left Valentina on her own. She seems to be coping and I have read the thread on caring for a bereaved pig so we are giving her lots of tlc.
I want to get her a new friend as soon as possible but she is a bit of a problem girl which is why we have ended up in this position.
She is generally a very stressed piglet and takes it out by biting. As far as I know she didn't bite our other piggies (probably because she was definitely the under pig) but has drawn blood from every member of the (human) family.
We have done lots of piggy whispering and she is better than she was but I am concerned that if she is challenged she may turn on another pig. I think that rules out another female or smaller pigs so I was thinking of trying to find an adult male for her. However, I would really appreciate some advice or if anyone has any other ideas
