You wouldn't be a caring person if you weren't feeling guilty, angry and deeply upset all at once about losing your new two piggies upon arrival, just because their previous owners were so keen to get rid of them so they didn't have to pay for any vet care that they lied through their teeth when they sold them to you.
But glad that you still want to give two unwanted/neglected piggies a loving home - and loving it will be!
As it is obviously something infective, please use a strong disinfectant to drench everything and let air dry. Wash any fabrics at at least 140 F (60 C) to make sure that nothing is carried across. Get a new water bottle.
I would also recommend to wait a couple of weeks to make sure that any bugs have died.
LD disinfectant is the most recommended brand for the US from what I know, but Virkon or F10 are also good (F10 is the brand we recommend for the UK for deep cleaning as it also addresses ringworm/fungal spores and microbes, and not just bacteria like the usual disinfectants; it is used by vets over here).
