glad you have increased metacam now. i don't know how the metacam syringes relate to doses in mls but i'm sure you'll notice if it's enough or she needs another adjustment along the way. glad she is doing well

Thank you everyone for the continued support! Crunchie is doing well, and proving to be a proper little fighter! She is maintaining her weight and fluctuates between that and an increase. Shes only 40g below her pre-op weight so i think we are doing well on that front. She had 10 ml of cc in two sittings, purely for the fact it stimulates her appetite. She takes it well, but then wants home for a wee and i just leave her there when i put her back as dont want to overdo the handling due to her abdomen. Her wound looks good- clean,dry, no redness or swelling. I dropped her loxicom a bit today as she seemed pain free, but started hopping like a bunny again tonight very slightly, so i've adjusted my alarms to put her back to 8 hourly. I reintroduced her to her sisters tonight on the bed, and as everthing went well, i let her join them in a bigger cage than her own at the moment for some vegetables. The cage was cleaned and fresh vetbeds to prevent territorial behaviour from the other two. I placed them in a cage to prevent Crunchie hurting herself- they normally have free run of the room but obviously Crunchie wont be doing that for quite a while yet. The competition/company of the other two boosted her appetite. After 8-10 minutes she came up to the side of the cage as if asking to be lifted- so she went back to her own cage. Well its been 4 days since Crunchies surgery- and she is good as new! I stopped syringe feeding cc last night, and her weight was up this morning, and up another 3g this evening- shes managing her weight all by herself now! Shes eating all her veg, lots of hay and even pellets- she started drinking on her own from the bottle yesterday too! Shes on a lower dose of metacalm and is still bright. Will wean her off slowly in a few days as to not set her back. She has done amazingly well and I'm so proud of her here she is last night whilst i was changing her vetbeds x

After several attempts at trying to pignap her, you would all bring her back! If she doesnt want to do something- she wont do it!

Nearly 2 days off the syringe feeding and shes up another 13g! Will give her until thursday/friday before i put her hay rack back in, the hays on the floor at the moment as didnt want her stretching up to get it. She had her nails clipped today as shes having a wee itch of her tummy now the wounds healing, so didnt want her back claws injuring it- theyre nice and smooth now. Cant believe how well shes done, shes so amazing!
