Poor little man, it must have been awfull for you. Its horrible news to break to children too my daughter cried for days when her hamsters died.
I didnt realise that this could happen, I had my 2 boys done last year when they fell out over being near my girls. Luckily all was well with them.

I am so sorry......RIP Goofy. x

I Love You ...goofy....that is why i am making monument ....for you...

Thank you all do much. The past few days have been very hard and I am still fighting back tears regularly. It's awful having his cage ( which is in our dining room) empty.
We have discussed it as a family and decided to adopt a pair of piggies from a rescue. The house feels quiet without piggies now, even with 3 young children! I am hoping it will help us all move on too. Have spoken with the lovely lady at gbh rescue and we are going on Saturday.
I know it is very soon after goofys death but I really think it will help and we will be helping some other poor piggies too.
Thank you all so much again x

That is just so sad for you. Definitely get two piggies again it's never too soon when we lost our cat in July the house seemed so so empty it was like there was another heartbeat missing in the house.

New piggies won't ever replace your loss but they will help with the hurt and pain.

Hugs
Alison xx

Really really sorry to hear this, it must have been very traumatic for you. It is in no way your fault and you have nothing to feel guilty about - thousands of pig owners do the same thing. I hope that in time you will lose your guilt and just remember all the lovely good things you did for him. Hope your new piggles bring you some comfort x

Oh this is awful, I'm so sorry that you lost Goofy in such an terrible way, as everyone says you mustn't blame yourself. Glad you're rescuing some pigs, you'll not be replacing Goofy at all you are helping out two new little souls who will appreciate it. Thoughts are with you x

RIP Goofy. I am so very sorry for your loss, and I think 2 new piggies are a must for your children.
Until I started researching piggies I had never heard of neutering. Have you contacted the vet who did the op? Just wondering if he can shed any light. I hope you are a little easier in your heart now, you did what you did for all the right reasons sometimes things just happen...x
