Junior Guinea Pig
I lost my boy on Saturday morning. He came to greet me walking funny and I could tell immediately something was very wrong. When I picked him up he just cuddled to me and couldn't stand again. I took him to the vets immediately, more to make sure he didn't suffer, as they said (and I could tell it would be the case) that nothing could be done.
It was so sudden and shocking, I am absolutely heartbroken. After his health problems I didn't expect him to be with me as long as some piggies, but he had been fine the day before when he was out for floor time, running around and noseying in everyone's business. He was such a bright and inquisitive piggy, and always so trusting and wanting to see (and maybe have a nibble of) whatever you were doing. He was a bit of a celebrity on my facebook with friends always asking to come round and meet him, he even inspired some of them to get rescue pigs of their own.
He was my first piggy, I had him almost 4 years to the day. Words can't express how special he was to me, I miss him so much already.
