well hes 3 wheeks tomm and she could have him next week maybe, his mum will be more relaxed without him around lol,and hes gettin quite a big boy now, very independant

you really shouldnt give them away before 6 weeks of age, imho.

I think it's fine, not like Shaz doesn't know what she's doing. She wouldn't have said otherwise.

Re: Guinea is feeling blue

3 weeks is the ideal age for introducing a baby boar to an adult.

In any other circumstance it wouldn't be right to rehome such a young baby but in these special circumstances it is perfectly acceptable.

Re: Guinea is feeling blue

I agree Starshine, I wouldn't let one go so young just for the sake of 'gettng rid' but as he has to be seperated any way & is still very much a baby Guinea should bond with hims much better. Alot of people put babies in with their dad when they're seperated from mum so I would look at it in this way.

Agree, that because of the circumstances it is acceptable on this occasion. O0

I got a goodie bag with her as well, which had some food, a sample pack of Science Selective, a Gerty Guinea Pig pencil case, a magazine, lots of leaflets, 6 small Willow toys and some Smarties for me to eat and fill with loose change and send back to her  ;D It was like Christmas haha

Her name is Pip, but i'm wanting to change it, so any name ideas would be great  ;)

Awww she's absolutely gorgeous. You should call her Pig. Guinea and Pig. :)

Yes she's lovely, she tried to go to sleep in the car on the way home :smitten: Just looking on the internet now for names. ;D Just had a peek in their cage and she has kicked Guinea out of his box and fallen to sleep. Although guinea didn't seem to mind and was also asleep near the bowl :smitten:

Awww poor Guinea your already finding out what it is like having a wife. ;D ;D

What a lovely lady, glad Guinea has got himself a new friend again and so quickly too O0

Don't they look wonderful together! That last picture is especially gorgeous . . . . :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
I hope they (and you) are very happy!

I'm with Pig as a name! It goes with Guinea and it's only slightly different from pip.

Oh my goodness a chocolate himi. She will be a very special piggie. Guinea does look sooooo besotted in the last picture. :smitten:
