Junior Guinea Pig
Hello All...
I am hoping that someone can give me some help.
I have 3 lovely lady guinea pigs who are all sisters and aged 2 1/2. I rescued them a few months ago.
All settled very well and are happy in their home,
HOWEVER...
I very recently noticed that one of them is bleeding from her lady parts, this DOES NOT occur when she wees it is the tiniest bit of spotting.
I took her to the vets who said she was a very happy and healthy young guinea pig and that there was no reason as to why she was bleeding.
The vet did say that because she had bred young before (not by me) this could be a reasoning as to why and she is probably in 'heat', however after having guinea pigs for many years before this never occured, but they were never bred.
She is eating, drinking, playing and running around in their run eating the grass as per usual.
She does not seem to be showing any pain and is still very happy when receiving a cuddle from me.
I have kept a close eye on her over the past 3 days and it has been noticed 3 times, only very slightly.
Can anyone please tell me if they have experienced this symptom or get me any closer to helping my lovely little Bon Bon.
Thank you very much for taking the time out to read this!
Please help!
