I am wanting to get a new hutch to house my 5 guinea pigs. They have always lived outside, and the hutch they are living in looks like it may collapse in the next few months. I would like to have a replacement lined up for that. I do not want another mobile hutch, but one on legs or something that I can keep undercover. It has to have good air flow as it gets 40+ degrees in summer over here. Also preferably under 100 Australian dollars, and enough room for all 5 of my guinea pigs to be left in it during the day. Any suggestions that aren't C&C because they can't come inside. What should I do?

It is not practical for summer, they love the inside and there is only the door and a tiny vent to let the air flow. The big door is plexiglass or something, the wood has swollen and split, the mesh has rusted and it wasn't very strong in the first place. I cannot move it undercover so they will be out in full sun during a 40 degree day. I am afraid of losing another guinea pig, just 10 months after Buttons, so a new hutch is really the best call. But thank you for your suggestion!

Can I know what happened to Button?

I have absolutely no idea what happened to Buttons, but will give you the facts: 40+ degree day, a fit, getting better, sudden death. I have no idea what it was but suspect it had something to do with the heat.

Yeah, this is why I am looking for a new hutch, one thats safer and more practical.
