Guinea pig memes - feel free to add!

I rescued a spider from a bathtub of water once I realised it was still alive.

(just throwing that out there)
I would rescue a spider too, have done so in the past. They're useful creatures, keep down the flies for one thing. I don't know what imprint they leave on people via their feet. I even rescued a wasp the other day, it was half-drowned in a trough full of water. Wouldn't want it sitting on me though.

I have had a giant house (that's what they're called, this particular one was on the small side as giant house spiders go) spider crawling over my face once. I don't know who was freaking out more, me or the spider, but I'm not doing that twice.

Cellar spiders feel like nothing though. Probably because they are next to nothing, they're about 98% legs, lol. I've moved bees occasionally, sometimes just to get them out of the direct sun so they can get themselves together again. And I've rescued snails before, even moved two bins closer so it could move itself from one to the other lol. They're always much happier about the help than the guinea pigs are. 🤷‍♂️

I still make and use spider ladders so they don't get stuck in the bath!

I will rescue the big ones from the tub if it's dry. But if it's wet they're much harder to scoop and I'm not having my hand anywhere near the big ones. I had enough trouble convincing the cellar spider to stay on my hand and not go back for another swim. I have no idea how long it was there before I woke up, though. i was genuinely surprised it was still alive, it showed no signs til I plunged my hand into the water and then I was like "that movement's weird wait WAIT YOU'RE ALIVE"
