I'd love to start a guinea pig rescue blog, promoting piggies in rescues across the country and highlighting the amazing work that they and the Piggy Bank do. I'm just not sure, would anyone read/share what I wrote?

I've always been told that I write very diplomatically, logically and clearly - I'm the HR lady at work (or I might as well be, dealing with all the emails and difficult phone calls and customers!) and would love to put what I can do very well. There aren't any piggie rescues within 30 miles of me, and if I can help share the word with people who are interested in piggies, then I would give anything. The only real option if you live in York is to go to P@H and I really don't want that. 2 of my 4 are from there and I love them more than life, don't get me wrong! But there are so many better options!

Guest articles etc. would be much appreciated, such as care tips and housing examples, 'dating ads', work done by the Piggy Bank and so much more.
What do you think? Should I give it a shot?

If you want to see how it would go down or even do it without the hassle of running the blog then I am looking for a guest blog poster for my piggies blog www.hutchagoodlife.wordpress.com

As the blog is from the point of view of my piggies I would prefer something from the point of view of rescue piggies but I am open to different options.

If you are interested then you can PM me.

Yeah, taking rescues across the country and highlighting them, giving care tips, trying to help find homes and sponsors for piggies in rescue, promoting the Piggy Bank, fundraising and more :) Like sharing the wonder of TGPF with people in an easy to navigate and specific format :)
There's so much more I could be doing, I think I'll start it tonight/tomorrow when I have some free time :)

Now all it needs is a name... Any suggestions? Best one goes live in the morning :)

I'm sure Bernadette would be a lovely guest blogger, former rescue pig that she is :)

Well I've got a structure, I'm planning to have a different kind of article every day of the week! Yep, this is going to be something I'll do eeeevery day - because the work of the rescues doesn't stop just because there's other things to do!

There'll be a rescue of the month (decision to make over who comes first in December!)
Monday - Piggie of the week
Tuesday - Health condition of the week
Wednesday - Story from the Piggy Bank
Thursday - Happy piggie stories
Friday - Guest blogger
Saturday - Ask the experts/rescue people
Sunday - Care tips

Hoping that this will work! x)

Not much time left to suggest a name for the up-and-coming rescue blog/website extravaganza! The name will also be put into a direct email address, for contact information.
Also, since tomorrow is Friday, I need a guest blogger! If anyone has an article they want to send, then please PM me :)

Potty for Piggies is currently in the process of creation!
Watch this space...

Looks fantastic. I am very impressed how anyone gets to grips with the technical stuff! Well done. I'll be subscribing :)

Well there's a guestbook, so if you have anything you want to add or any contact: if you have a guest article, a heart-warming rehoming story, care tips or any form of advice for owners, then please, feel free to use the guestbook or email [email protected]

Plus, Hutch a Good Life will be providing our first guest blog of the website, coming to you tomorrow! :)

There was only ever one choice for Rescue of the Month - lasting through the end of November and the whole of December: Suzy and the piggies of Glynneath Guinea Pig Rescue :)
Also included are our first Happy Rehoming Story, and the news update of 3 new rescues on the Piggy Bank map :)
Please help spread the word of Potty for Piggies! (thanks to Lil-Ninnibig for the name!)

Just had a quick look, its looking great! :) Thank you for highlighting rescues and the work that we do. Good to see Bernadette on there too. :(|)

Of course, Bernadette had to be put as the first Happy Rehoming Story! I just need/want people to help me promote it, so I can help to get the rescue word out there. The Piggy Bank rescue map is on an easy-to-click button on the home page too.

Please feel free to share, or email anything you would like adding to the website to [email protected]

I did, it was the one that jumped out at me and will be sticking :) Plus, everyone on here is Potty for Piggies! x)

Thank you all for your kind words, please feel free to provide me with any information you have or want to share. The more we can get the word out, the better it will be! Which reminds me, I need to link back to TGPF! I can't believe I haven't done that yet!

It looks wonderful! The write-up on Glynneath GPR is worded perfectly, and it's a fantastic idea to keep the link to the Piggy Bank map on the front page. Great job! :))
