Guinea Pig was left outside all night in the rain, how to make sure she’s okay?

So last night I messed up bad. My mum lets our guinea pigs out to roam the garden in the morning. They the move freely between the shed (yes a whole shed) and the garden all day. I then shut them in when I feed them at night. When I went to feed them last night I was in a rush and forgot to count them because normally they’d all wonder in by then.

Well turns out one of them hadn’t and our long haired pig Twix has been out all night in the uk where it rained. I brought her in the house the moment I noticed and dried her off in a towel before wrapping her in a blanket. Since then I’ve brought her some food and a bottle with vitamin c added.

She was fairly docile when I found her and made no fuss when I picked her up which is unusual as she normally makes a small fuss when being picked up.

Since then she’s been wrapped in a blanket burrito and has been constantly been drinking from the bottle I’m holding with my other hand. As I’m writing this she’s moving about a bit more and has groomed her self a bit, explored the blanket a bit and looked at me with confusion (probably because were in a room she’s never been in before) she’s making a bit of a weird noise and the only way I can describe it is like when you swill water around your mouth.

So what do I do from here to make sure she’ll be okay?

Aw, can’t advice what the noise is, but keep her warm perhaps with one of her friends for company, hoping she’s alright x

Hi!

Please keep a close eye on your girl for the next few days and have her vet checked as an emergency as soon as she is showing symptoms of a respiratory or urinary tract infection.

The watery sound is from your piggy having had drunk too much too quickly, so it has gone up he nose. It should subside soon.
It is good that she has started to groom herself. You can see whether she likes to have her hair dried on the lowest setting (warmth, strength and from a suitable distance) with your hair dryer.

Offer her plenty of soft hay to eat and snuggle into - a large cardboard box lined with some newspaper would be ideal. That is food, comfort, blotter and insulation all together. Please reunite her with her closest friend for company and moral support while she is drying off.

the sound she’s been making, it sounds a bit like the chattering of teeth but like more moist? Could she just be pissed at me for leaving her out all night?

I can't hear any noise from your video but please see my post above. If you are worried, please contact your vets.
