Oh but her ribs arent protrudingHeft is when put your hands around their body. You should be able to just feel their ribs covered by a nice fat layer.
If the ribs are easily felt with no fat layer and are protruding, then they may be too thin. If you can’t feel the ribs at all, then they may be overweight
The guide here explains Weight - Monitoring and Management
Ok i did that except to the 2 month old one because I shouldnt touch her yet but my 5 month old one has a nice fat layer covering the ribs but my 6 month old one has a thinner layer and i can feel her ribs more easily and she feels rather bony, if that makes sense.
Because i just got her last week and i try my best not to touch them for 2 weeks, is that wrong? And ill take her to the vet tmrw. Thankss
Oh well i dont completely not touch her, I interact with her by giving her food and letting her sniff me and when she lets me, i pet her, but i wouldnt pick her up now cause I'm scared she would be more afraid bcs of it.
Ok ok, oh also can a guinea pig get too much vitamin c? I'm thinking of giving them childlife liquid vit c, 1 ml a day but i dont know if I should since they already have vitamin c filled veggies and pellets.
