Hey. I got my boy almost a year back when he was a baby. He was really malnourished and boney. I noticed a little discolouration in his right eye but I thought it was just the lighting. Today, it caught my attention again, and I took a proper look at his eye and saw it was a little cloudy at the bottom of his right eye. I don't know if it has increased much from when he was baby. I am a little worried if it will affect his eye sight in the long run. Is there anything I can do? He doesn't seem to be in pain and there is no debris or hay poking out and it is not crusty.

Please do have him seen by a vet for a hands on check. We can’t say what damage there might be, if any.
Any eye issue is considered urgent as they can deteriorate quickly and should be seen by a vet within 24 hours

:agr: A hands on vet examination is the only way to find out what’s happened. With eyes, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I will keep you guys updated. The thing is, the place I am from, there's hardly any vet that's specialised in piggys. And the fact that my boy has had this for as long as we've had him and the condition not getting any better or worse for that matter stays. The vet we normally take him to is about an hour away, he just gives them a checkup and some vitamins normally. I am a little worried as to what I should do and we're in a full lock down too.

This pandemic does make things so much harder.
Eyes can be dealt with by any vet, not just an exotic specialist.
In the UK vet trips were classed as essential travel when we were In lockdown.
Holding you in my thoughts
