If I was you hun, I would keep her warm and keep a very close eye on her. If she doesn't improve or gets any worse during the next couple of hours, I would phone the pdsa back and tell them that you are not happy and are still worried about Jasmine. Guinea pigs can go down hill very quickly if they do not get the treatment that they need. I understand how worried you must be :( xx

sounds like your vet fobbed you off a bit!i hope your piggie is ok if the symptoms are still the same id go back tomorrow and do as alcesterpigs suggested and ask for baytril

It is unwise to diagnose by instinct, however, I feel uneasy with the URI diagnosis.
In a case like this, or in any condition, pain relief has to be a priority.
It will do no harm. I would give her 0.2ml of Junior Calpol OR 0.2ml of Nurofen.
In addition, I would give her one Buscopan tablet, crushed and given with water. It will relieve any spasm of the gut muscles.

You could let her have a sniff of Olbas Oil or Vick's vapour rub.
Are her ears cold and has she started to eat?
