My first piggie , a lethal named Patrick, would always try to eat the strangest things . He'd try to steal cat food from my cat ( wet and dried) , he once stole someone's turkey sandwich and even took an entire slice of toast with scrambled egg half way across the living room floor before I was able to prize it off of him! He'd also try to secretly eat old brown leaves in the garden in autumn, and when I'd come across to take them from him he'd turn his back on me and munch them down as quickly as possible!

Patrick sounds so cute!

One of my pigs has an obsession with leaves too! She once found branch sticking into the run and began eating it. I didn't know whether it was safe so I tried to pull it away- she wouldn't let go! I'm not sure whether they ate any of it but a month ago I found a load of styrafoam packaging in their hutch, I still don't know how it got there.......

Bumble will try to eat anything in his cage, or next to his cage... or on top of his cage...

My first two pigs many years ago, Joey and Chandy, both had a thing for my English school exercise book, a dictionary which was lying around, and my dads books on the English Civil War.... They liked to chew all things English :p none of my pigs have ever gone for toast or eggs or anything though!

one of mine once stole a monte carlo biscuit right out of my mouth, then after i got it back, stole one out of the packet.
and steals the taco shells.

Strangest thing one of mine ate was the finger from a plastic glove. Ate it, not just chewed at it. But I have read of others doing the same.....
Never had one try to steal human or cat food though! :)

Charlie (rip) once ate part of a jam sandwich, some Pringles, (unplugged) Christmas tree lights and anything he could get his little fury paws on, he was one of a kind and would eat anything, good for him or bad for him I could never turn my back on him or he would be eating something that he shouldn't

Peaches chews paper and books. I don't think he has ever chewed something strange. He chews on his wooden hidey house which is ok he also chews on his plastic one. He also occasionally chews on my fingers.

Ludwig I had to stop eating the carpet once.

Romano somehow got some plastic covering, think the stuff you get over a box of malteasers and was trying to eat that when he was a baby. Luckily I was in the same room and managed to fight it off of him.

Matthew loved to eat the wall - its not ruined and my parents aren't happy and Romano also enjoyed chewing wires. I had to fight him again teh other day when he managed to pull one down and tried to chew on it. I had to take the pieces out of his mouth.

My boys seem to have a thing for trying to eat my engagement ring... And my necklace!
