Have Your Pigs Ever Eaten Anything Really Strange ?

Biscuit tries her best to eat the cactus plant (its a non spiky one) we have on the hearth. Its next to the playpen so she can see it but we always make sure the plant doesn't dangle in. One time she escaped and attempted to chew the plant pot too. She goes for everything, once nibbled her way through the plastic bag the treat bar was in, nibbles newspaper, magazines and even the corner of kitchen roll once! We try and keep everything unsafe out of her way!

We have a patterned carpet in the room and when they're having floor time without the pen, Fudge eats the green bits. She nibbles clothes or the blanket too when having cuddles to tell us she needs the toilet.

The typical excuse of my dog ate my homework, did your teachers believe you when you said your guinea pig are it? Lol.

My boys seem to have a thing for trying to eat my engagement ring... And my necklace!

I didn't draw attention to it and my teacher never mentioned it so god knows what she thought :p

We have a very tatty collection of DVDs as they like to eat the covers, I hid them behind a fleece blanket when the guineas were having floor time, after a few days Spike worked out how to get behind it. The DVDs have now been packed away. Peanut likes to nibble on my finger nails at lap time given a chance!

Kulu had a thing for my books. I'd be reading and he would just eat it! :D:D:D

My little one, Charlie, decided socks somehow look appetizing and went all in for one (to boot, it was a used one!). Luckily I caught on to him before he downed the whole thing so he only got a few nibbles. FEWF....so weird

My first two pigs once managed to eat the skirting board (the bottom wooden bit of the wall) in one night so they were banished to the garden. Not sure how but they managed to get some toast at one point and now all the pigs get left over toast crusts (no toppings ).
