Thanks David.Sorry to hear Hazel not 100%
Sending her lots healing vibes,
Men eh. . . .My OH is the same! Men seem incapable of carrying out even the most simplest of instructions. My friend reckons its in their DNA. I asked my OH to put the bin out last night, simple enough job or so you would think but he forgot to put the food waste bin out and I did say that it went out with the black bin (it goes out every week). Did he put the food waste bin out? ..... Er ..... no. I found out this morning when I had to put out another food waste bag cos he had forgotten to put it in the food waste bin only to find that the bin men had been early today (typical!) and I have now to find somewhere to put the food waste for another week when my food waste bin is full to overflowing!

Mine would also rather be lost for hours than ask for directions. My OH is the same! Men seem incapable of carrying out even the most simplest of instructions. My friend reckons its in their DNA. Sounds positive for Hazel - at least there’s no stone.Just back from the vets. They didn't seem too concerned, Hazel still has some swelling to her bladder and it is still very sore. So we have another week of Metacam and Cerenia. I also have to bathe her feet in salt water ( I'm going to use Epsom Salts as it worked so well for @Betsy) and then rub in some Sudocrem. The vet said she prefers Sudocrem to F10 barrier cream.
Well you can treat yourself to a nice relaxing bath now.So, reasons to never send your OH to buy anything. As my OH was out in the car I asked him to pick up some Epsom Salts for soaking Hazel's feet. I did say to go the chemist and ask for them (this was my mistake as he will never ask for help in a shop). So he arrives back with a big pack of Epsom Salts, unfortunately they are bath salts and contain black pepper and lavender.
I really should have learnt that it is best to do these things yourself.![]()
Sadly we only have a wet room, so no bath for me.Well you can treat yourself to a nice relaxing bath now.
You probably need something to pamper yourself after all you’ve had to cope with.
Black pepper & Lavender sounds rather nice
Hazel seems a little better, we haven't found any blood for a couple of days and she no longer has a wet bottom. Her feet are still sore but seem not so red now. Managed to get some Epsom Salts so will start the foot baths today. I'm hoping she is on the road to recovery. None of this has affected her appetite, which is a good thing. How is Hazel now @YvonneBlue ?
Mine too, he would never ask for directionsMine would also rather be lost for hours than ask for directions.![]()
