Healing Vibes Please For My Old Lady Mrs Fudge.

Sadly our lovely girl had to be helped on her way to the Rainbow Bridge this morning. Feisty to the last she resisted her meds this morning but had a great breakfast before making her final trip. It was the kindest thing to do for her as she wasn't improving but the hardest decision for us to make. Heartbroken doesn't come close. When I feel up to it I will post a tribute to our longest resident.

I am so sorry! It is so heart-breaking when you realise that a beloved piggy is not going to make it. :(
 
Aww it's so hard to make a decsion like that. You have your lady a lovely life full of love she was lucky to have you. It was for the best. Hugs to you and wheeks from my boys. Rest in peace sweet little piggies xx
 
Thanks all of you. Mr Ted has said his goodbyes - he gently washed her after we brought her home. He is subdued tonight but we have moved Connie and Violet to be next to him so he can see them. Will have to start planning his future in the next few days. I'm not sure whether to try bonding him with the girls as I did try to bond them as a foursome on neutral ground in the outside run last summer and Violet was having none of it and took chunks of his fur out (very small but feisty pig!). So I don't want to traumatise him if she isn't going to give him a chance. Dilemmas.
