Healing wheeks needed for Honey

Sorry to hear Honey still isn't feeling her best Helen, we are all still thinking of you both and hoping she gets better soon! Sending healing vibes her way.......

Honey has taken a turn for the worse overnight, her breathing has got a lot worse and it is looking more and more like she is in heart failure (she is a heart pig), she was also struggling to walk and has absolutely no desire to eat even after days of medication. I left her asleep in the hay this morning as I had no choice but to come to work as have had so much time off already this week. She has the vets tonight and if she has not made her way in the day we have a decision to make. Will see how she is when we get home :(

BIG HUG

What a rotten time for you! I know how awful these days are and my thoughts are with you and Honey.

I'm so sorry I really hope she is better by some miracle when you return from work I really do, sending lots of love our thoughts are with you later xx

I'm so so sorry to hear this Helen. Big big hugs to you, it must be a horrible time :0 lets hope she has either miraculously made a recovery or has passed away peacefully in her sleep. Hope you're ok xx

Thank you everyone, am afraid there were no miracles, she was still here when I got home but the vet took one look at her and agreed that the bloat was secondary to end stage heart failure and we made the decision to help her on her way to the bridge. I will do a proper tribute to her in a little while.

I'm so sorry about Honey Helen - you tried everything you possibly could for her, sending hugs to you and Ross xx

Oh no, only just caught up with this again :(
Poor Honey, I'm so sorry and know she'll be free and content running around with the other little ones at the bridge.
Hugs to you too x>>

Thank you, it's horrible here tonight without her. The herd just doesn't look right.

I am so sorry; bloat is such a nasty thing to come down with.

And I know only too well the feeling of this HUGE empty space in your herd - it never gets any less how many piggies you happen to have. You just miss them like hell!

RIP Honey - popcorn free of pain and discomfort again!
