HELP! How quickly do symptoms of poisoning present themselves?

My grandad just gave my three piggies two leaves each, he days they were dandelion, however his eyesight is very bad so we're worried he's given them something else by mistake. How quickly do symptoms appear and what do I do if they do?

Please see a vet as an emergency at any time of the day/night if your piggies are suddenly looking very ill in the next 24 hours. How to contact a vet out of hours

However, it is very unlikely that just two leaves will cause any problems unless they are foxglove leaves or have been freshly peed on by a dog or fox.

Just keep a closer eye on them for the next day or two. It is normal to worry; hopefully it was just dandelion!
