The crackling is very likely just from the cut in the nose. All disrupted breathing sounds crackly. Just hold your ear on the body and you will hear that the lungs are clear but that the crackling was coming from the nose area. It should settle down quickly, as soon as the bleeding stops and Paffy has a chance to clear her nose.
Try to face Paffy against your body, so there is less likelihood of her injuring herself when jumping unexpectedly. Put her back in the cage bum end first.
I didnt dare to hold her worried that she will be in pain so didn't get the chance to hear if it's from the nose or lung but the vet told me theres blood/fluid in the lung after xray! So I naturally thought its because of that that makes her breathing crack cause we breathe thru our lungs right? Lol
Does this also mean what happened was just another accident and there is no immediate need to see a vet or hospitalise as long as her limbs are fine and she can still walk and eat? Just in case, but I will bring down my accident rate to zero [emoji15]
But anyway her breathing seems fine now thank goodness! But shes still quite stone now. Keep staring.into space [emoji20]
