This is why going to a rescue is far better then going to a pet shop. I wouldn't 'buy' a pig again!

If it was me though I'd go to Trading Standards just to find out what your rights are and spread the word about their poor service!
 
well its Wilson's pets and id never buy from there again?

i had a terrible ordeal with them a few months ago,
i bought a piggy from them and i got him home but he was no longer alive?
 
omg not to be harsh to you but if it was me I'd run back to the shop and kick their arses! I am so MAD! Poor little girl, you must must must try and get her back! Go in and go mad at them! Kick up a fuss, please! I get the feeling it may not be something you usually do (make a big fuss) but tell them you have experienced friends who will help you out with her (i.e. us!) and that you have a seperate cage for her etc. Or keep going in or ringing everyday and asking them about her - make a complete nusience of yourself and make it clear you're not leaving them alone until they let you have your pig back.
How DARE they tell you to 'concentrate on the pigs you have' when you are clearly worried and showing concern for the little girl pig. Petshops should kill for good caring owners like you. Instead they only care about money & themselves. I'm worried that if she has babies, they will be sold on too :( This is a terrible situation, do you not know anyone who will go into the shop and speak with them in a very 'haughty' tone and demand you're given the pig back?
 
maybe thats what the petshop is thinking....that iif she is pregnant they can keep her til she has the babies, and make money from them....thats something i was considering :-\

If this is what they said and then offered you a replacement they have not got a leg to stand on!
YOu brought guineas they sold you two boys?
you have boy girl they asked you to take back to prove
then they take guinea saying its illegal!
not right get on to trading standards
if you where happy to keep her they should offer apology or other recompence But i'd contact local guinea rescue and talk through with them also to see what they say But at my reckoning she's your 'property' go down that road scare them with Trading standards and the fact they sold you wrong sex mention local newspapers and tv that scares them!

Peter who works in PC World as a IT Technician said that if you bought her then she is YOUR property they can't take her back.

Please contact the trading standards, do not let it rest. Hope you new pig is ok, what is he like?
 
They can offer a replacement or a refund,and that would be down to you to either accept or refuse.....you did neither, she was your piggie,you paid for her,so therefore your property,like everyone else has said contact trading standards....good luck Sxx

Did you accept that other pig? If you did it makes everything trickier, as you've accepted a replacement for something which was mis sold to you.
 
hi yes i took another pig but only because i had no choice.
they said the guarantee had ran out on the other one guarantee as if she was some sort of toy?

hee is just brown all over and i have called him brandy?

i am very concerned for my little girl though but i just do not know any1 who could get her for me and i do not have a spare cage to keep her in?
