She will soon forgive you when she's feeling better. I felt awful when I had to force Peanut with medicine and critical care in October but he soon forgave me. He's first one up at the bars for food again now. I just wish we could expalain to them we are being mean for their own good.

I know what you mean well done with Mr Peanut. :yahoo:

Glad she's accepting it all well! :)

When I do pro C for one of my pigs I have to do enough for everyone or they trash the cage :)) The water jug comes out, mix it up and have 2 syringes ready or else there's fighting and snatching :D

It's the same with us! All three pigs love the taste, but Maya is a little Pro-C addict. It's her most favorite thing in the world and whenever someone is having Pro-C, she has to have some (and by some, she means at least 5-10 syringefuls).

She loves it so much I had to taste it, but I have to admit I was disappointed - it's bland, like water with a pinch of sugar, salt and vinegar. But to Maya it tastes like ambrosia.

Best of luck to Cocoa, she sounds like a real trooper. I'm sure she'll be well again in no time.

Haha brave of you to try it! I must say I haven't been tempted :)) But I have wondered what all the fuss is about!

I've had to throw away several syringes as they've been chewed to bits, stolen off me and fought over XD

Need I mention I tried it before dipping the syringe in? :xd:

On a side note, after a sleepless night with an ill piggy, whom I had to feed and water all night long, my husband came in the room to take over for the morning shift. I made him some coffee, took some coffee in the syringe and proceeded to offer the syringe it to him. :xd: Lack of sleep can do that to you, I guess.

Sorry, @David Pet Lover, I will stop spamming your thread right now. Best of luck to the little fur-baby!

@RosieMaia you can spam any of my threads or messages anytime. I've learnt a lot from you which I will use to make our piggies better and happy. That's not spamming that's special. I thank you.

Keep getting better for Mummy and Daddy Cocoa. They really love you (I know it's had to believe when they are syringing yukky medicine down your throat). My lovely late Mum always said, "If it tastes 'orrible it does you good".

Aww, that's so sweet - thank you!

As long as I can help prevent you trying to syringe-feed @Hoppity.K with coffee in a sleepy haze :lol!:

How is Cocoa?

I left her at 8 and she's settling down. I'm having to work on cos my job has deadlines and I'm behind with havin Monday off to look after. with hinsight I should asked a neighbour to call in.
If I thought she was gettin worse I would have sneaked another day off.
It seems can take a couple of days for her treatment to kick in.
She was defo no worse but one can't help being worried..
