Teenage Guinea Pig
Hello
My Freddie is approx 5 1/2 years old, recently been to Ashleigh Vets in Chorlton for heavy/hooty breathing and general puffed up grumpiness. diagnosed with possible enlarged heart and put on Frusol, I understand as a diuretic it will make him urinate more however his tummy now seems to be constantly stained and he is getting a slight urine scald on his back feet
He is as active as usual and eating and drinking, still vocal when the hay bag comes out.
Just wondering if this is normal and wether there is anything safe I can pop on his feet to protect/sooth them? Vet also gave Metacam to use as required, will this help?
