Help with illness?

Sadly I made the hard decision to put Mumen to sleep

He suddenly stopped eating after the morning feed and wouldn’t eat anymore.
I thought it was cruel to prolong his suffering so I had him pts
I’m absolutely heart broken :(

He did leave me a little message on the table and though it’s not as clear on photo it was extremely clear in person
It’s a little love heart. I like to think it was him telling me I did the right thing and he loves me

I’m so very sorry to read this @Julesie. You were called upon to make that awful decision but you didn’t fail your little fellow. You loved him enough to let him go. Huge hugs x

It’s a tough decision to have made but you acted out of love for Mumen.
Allow yourself time to grieve and be gentle with yourself
 
So sorry to hear this. It is the final act of love we can give our beloved pets. Sleep well little Mumen. The Rainbow Bridge has been busy lately.

Thank you Vicki.
Mumen has a big fear of needles so I spoke to her to make sure he wouldn't have his last seconds freaking out from the needle. He got given gas and then the shot. It was a relief to know he wouldn't be panicked by it.

I just wanted to do right for him. I can't bring myself to walk in their room at the moment. I had to ignore his cage when I fed the girls. It's so hard to not see him there.

Thank you x He's back with his girlfriend who was only taken from us in July. I'm sure he's happy to see her again
 
I am so sorry to hear your very sad news. Such a horrible decision to have to make, but such a selfless act of love.
RIP Mumen.

Thank you. It was hard mentally but my heart knew it was the right thing to do for him.
