Herd spam pigtures :)

This is my favourite bit of Herdlife that had a visible gap after we lost Jezzy floof- the big communal after dinner hay eating circle :)

So pleased noisy little old lady Luna has stepped in to more than fill the floofy wee pants gap in the family! And dont worry 7th family member Lavender the big purple adorable idiot is there too inside the big animated hay pile at the back :)
 
Adorable! They are both so funny and such big characters, and Luna has chunked up quite a lot and also got quite assertive... and her fur got really long, she has big fuzzy corkscrew ringlets on her bum that will be getting a bum bath and maybe a trim next weekend!

Everypig in the herd :) there was an entire bag of red and green butterhead lettuce mix here 30 seconds ago but there's many piggy salad hoovers!

The reason they are all face down and digging is the peaflakes I sprinkled in the hay, Wednesday dinner is scatterfeed foraging while we do the midweek cage clean!
 
"Big purple" Lavender and "ginger biscuit" Puggle colour co-ordinating themselves with the cuddle couches :)
In the middle is Blodwen in the rainbow sticks tunnel being a bit hormonal and confused, she's still acting like a lady hyena and is off to the vet for her ovaries checking out in school half term week!

Piggy daddy is making fun of me because after switching 7 food bowls to 2 sharing platters... I wasnt sure they were all getting enough to eat, especially Blod with ovaries causing trouble and making her a bit skittish... so we now have 2 sharing platters and perhaps a hooman dinner plate too... piggy daddy says it will be 7 hooman dinner plates by next week and the piggies will con me into serving triple dinners all round by demanding bigger and bigger plates that they wont share lol!

Theo always shares a plate with Luna though he really loves her :)
 
Playpen box house fun! How many piggies fit in a 45x60cm Amazon box? Turns out its four and a half, a 5th bottom causes some arguments!

And Theo is a very happy boy because Luna is the boss of boxes full of hay and... she let Theo in for a snuggle and a nap :) Usually the other ladies make Theo sit outside, this is possibly only the 3rd time in 4 years he got to take a nap in a box of bootiful ladies!20220206_111938.webp
I love you Luna says Theo you are a very kind lady pig and I will guard you while you are sleeping!

Luna and Blodwen having a coriander eating competition, I think they both won because there is no coriander visible and there was loads 30 seconds before!
I think I need to trim Luna's bum fur, when she arrived in October she looked like a little sheep, then she started looking like an exploding meringue... now she looks like a sheep wearing a fairytale princess wedding dress with a long train, that got caught in some exploding meringues, then pooped in her pretty floofy pants lol :) the bum bath bucket and piggy home salon treatment are booked for Sunday!

Another victory for pigs vs coriander: 7-0 to the piggy team, those herbs never stood a chance! The curly parsley in the fridge for tomorrow has a tough game ahead... I think I need to go buy some back up romaine lettuces, they last a bit longer!
