How did your piggies get their names?

I think he’s just stunning :love: Those little lips :love: I do have a massive fondness for these wonky ones!:))
 
I like human names for my piggies but if they come with a name I try and keep it.

My first two rescues didn't have a name and got called Bumble and Bea. Bea was Queen Bea, she would show her displeasure at human contact by weeing on everyone :)) then we got Peter through the forum and were going to rename him but couldn't think of another name so Peter stuck or Petey-bear as I often called him.

Then I felt 3 left an outsider and adopted Kate. I couldn't have Peter and Kate because of the fear people would think I named my pets after Katie Price and Peter Andre who were a thing at the time so she became Jemima (as in Jemima puddleduck).

Next up was Buddy who was a gumtree take in after trying to support someone rehoming a number and no one wanted him because he was ugly :( he was the most beautiful piggy ever, such a character.

After that is Isobel who was named by the rescue. Then Daisy who was a pets at home adoption and already had the name. Then Willow as I thought it matched Daisy's nature theme.

Next was Donald, a long hair ginger boy. He looked like Donald Trump's hairpiece which is how he got his name. Then we got Lily so again the nature theme and she's white. Next up was Poppy.

And finally Boris. He didn't have a human name in rescue and looks like a badger but Badger isn't a human name so we went for Boris the Badger. Though after our previous male being Donald I'm pretty sure many people think he's named after the prime minister :))
