Hopefully, next weekend a new boy is going to move in with my girls.
Now as the big four level cage of mine is still being in repair, and I didnt want to delay taking the new piggy in, I was thinking of just expanding my temporary CC-Cage that I did for the girls.
for them its currently 2 by 3, as I didnt have enough tablecloth left for the floor to make it any bigger
However today we want to buy a bigger piece, a few meters maybe, question is how big does it have to be?
I know minimum space for guinea pigs is 0.5 square meters each, but how much is that in grids?
would a 5 by 2 be enough for three piggies? (i think i read somewhere that a 4 by 3 would be enough, which is the same as 5 by 2 isnt it?) They are going to have houses with ramps so they can go on top of them, so they will have a bit more space than just the floor space.
Right now it looks like this:
How many more grids to add? (And yes I know, the more the better, but as its temporarily I dont want to buy enough waxed tablecloth to fill the whole floor of the kitchen
