We have 3 piggies at home. Our third is one we got yesterday, a black, white and brown smooth haired boar. He is really timid and has hardly ever been handled, so yet has to settle in. We named him Hugh Mc Moo! (lol, Hugh or Hughie for short!)
i have 8, we have a group of 5 sows and one neutered boar, then we have two unneutered boars that are living on their own at the moment because they dont get along well at all but were hoping soon we will find a couple neutered girls for the boys, as dad is against the idea of the boys being neutered, though its very hard to find some neutered girls, hopefully we can find a couple each to live with each of the boars
5 boars, a group of three and two separate, at the moment that is enough , with the handling as we do hold them all every day, our neigh bours are good, and give us outside leaves off of greens etc, and at the moment they go out on the grass everyday, we have just brought a new run, so they can all be out at the same time (not together) and i am not running in and out like a loony changing them over!
