Hi,
Baby my girl had some vet prescribed shampoo because she can't groom herself very well and it's caused some coat and skin issues for her.

When I first bathed her I just did her back half,
Now I need to do her neck area and she really hated it the first time
Is there anything I can do to help?

Last time I had to place her in an empty bowl and gently cup water over her and even then she thrashed, bit, jumped and generally stressed the whole time.

I bathed mine for the first time about a week ago. I put them in the bath with a towel on the bottom, and a couple of inches of tepid water. They were great and hardly wriggled (although that might have been because they were scared). It might be worth a try. At least in the bath she can't jump out, so you can relax a bit.

I generally put about an inch of water in a basin and use a wet cloth for the rest, they don't like water too much so try minimal amounts of water and wet cloths. That works for my guys.

I've not done it many times but I find that when they're in the bath, compared to the sink or a bowl they're a bit quieter. I think it might be because they're conscious that they can't escape like they can from a basin so they just let you get on with it.

We don't have a bath tub guys only a shower the bathrooms too small.

Originally we put her in a large plastic tub, we have that I usually have fruit in, with a small amount of water and she hated it,
Then I took the water out and just gently poured it on her from my hand and she hated that.

I think ill try putting her on a towel and using a wet cloth to wet her fur then putting on the shampoo, then I'll have to wash it off with water somehow :/
