Howe old were you when....

Sam and Finn were both overdue. Sam was due 2/09/05 and came 13/09/05 weighting 8lb 6.5oz Finnley was born 31/12/06 (due 23/12/06) weighting 9lbs 6.5oz!

I think we need piccies now!

Its nice to know that I'm not the only youngish mum on here!


I would love more in a few years!
 
I had Ailsa (6) when I was 29 (she was 11 days over and an emergency section 8lb 12)

lost 2 inbetween the girls :(

Ella (3) when I was 32 (she was 1 week early, and an elective section as she was unstable lie and I was in hospital until she was born, 8lb 9)

No. 3 is due in 9 weeks (due to be an elective section as two previous sections), the week after I will be 35!
 
I had my daughter when I was 23 (now 27) and I had a terrible time having her... traumatic birth, complaint against the hospital, servere post natal depression, the works. But I love her to pieces. Children really do change your life more than you can ever imagine. Nothing can prepare you for it! :o :o

Me and my OH are the same ages O0

I'm pregnant with my first now, I will be 22 when he or she is born - we have had several miscarriages, but I'm feeling good about this pregnancy :smitten: :smitten:
 
Awww sorry to hear of the losses PP when did you start trying for a baby ? :(
 
oOOOOoooo we were trying about 18 months.

We were not trying this time and I was on the pill ::) Typical ;D
 
I know that feeling! Same with Sam.

I lost a baby when i was 18. It was one of the most horrid thing that ever happened to me, i was 4 1/2 months gone.

I was depressed for 2 years, did realise at the time, had no support net work and Jon didnt understand.

Today i feel very blessed, I Have a wonderful hubby (most of time!)who lets me get away with murder, 2 beautiful Boys, a wonderful House and gorgeous Guinea pigs and a good family! :) (how soppy!)
 
I had my eldest at 22 and my youngest a month and a half before I turned 27 - no more for me, thank you! ;D

My eldest child's birth was very lengthy and horrific, both he and I could have died if the staff at the hospital hadn't been ready for anything. It affected me really badly and emotionally wasn't really dealt with until I got pregnant again (when I was on the pill!).

In comparison my second was a total breeze, all done in less than 4 hours, no stitches or pain relief. ;D
 
My step mum gave birth to my lil brother now 1 in like 1 hour or 30 mins i cant remember but it was soo fast :D
 
I had Eve at 24. I'm now 29.
Due to surgery last year I 'might' not be able to carry another child. But I feel very blessed & lucky with the one I have so no hard feelings.

same here I always wanted more but it was never to be....so I filled my house with animals :smitten: :smitten:

I know i've been with my bf since i was 14, but sex was NO NO!

Do these young girls not know what condoms and the pill are? Do they know what the word contraception is? (As you can tell I'm against underage people having kids. It's... ewwwww.... If you're gonna do it ATLEAST talk to your parents and use a condom!... (Or even better... DONT do it XD)

I am hopeing to have a child at about 24years old or after then :p (Can't make my mum a Grandma until shes at least nearly 50 XD)

I'll make you cringe when I was in hospital having Jack the girl in the bed next to me was 12!(I swear if I had a daughter I'd sew it up till she was at least 21 )

I know these things do happen, and of course you would have to support them if it did, but they shouldnt happen, young girls shouldnt be so quick to put out :(

If someone did that to my little sis.....well they would be very sorry >:( >:( >:(
 
totally agree Ali, and the fact my mum would go mental if id have got myself preggers in my teens!

I'm 20 now, and not planning on having any for a loooooooong time yet! lol my bf is 24 so we are not in a rush to start up a family, we dont even live together yet.
 
I'm 31 been with my OH 13 years and still not ready got so much more that i want to do first. Might think about it once i have got my degree which I'm doing part time at night school as well as a full time job.

My mum was 27 when she had me so I'm in no rush. Non of my friends had them early either. :)

whats wrong with teenage pregnancy 98) Its natural but at a young age and 12 years old is a bit young but its her life and i think 14 is just the right age
Its not all about contraception and that crap its about your life and how you want to plan it or go about it to be honest ~ My mates baby is nearly 4 i think and my other 2 mates have had their babys at 15/16 :-\ I wanted a baby at 14 but didnt have a b/f as i got broody over my mates baby and how popular she was :(
 
14 is a ridiculous age to be having children, at 14 your still a child! you have no financial support unless your on benefits i auume, you miss out on going out clubbing etc because your stuck at home with a kid, you prob cant afford nice things such as clothes as nappies and milk are more important. i used to think 19 was when i wanted a kid, but deffo not anymore i wanna see more of the world, and do more things before i settle down.
 
If i had a b/f when i was 14 i would of i hated clubbing and just wanted to settle down with a baby and have my own house and go on benefits that may sound stupid but it was my mind at the time ~ I havent got a kid now because i want a life as i thought about it for ages and i wanna go college plus my b/f well ex didnt want a kid :(
 
no, i cant imagine a ANY teenage boy would want a child! or to settle down either lol
 
i know but i was desperate and was gonna do anything but then my mind changed ?
 
i guess i wasnt your average teenager though because i dodnt want to sleep with anyone lol i wasnt interested, as i had more respect for myself and my body and nobody was going to use me just to sleep with me, i waited for the right guy to come along as funnily enough were still together 2 1/2 years later, and i love him to bits :)

Anyone having children will tell you 14 is no age to have a baby. It is hard work and expensive.
I don't mean to dissmiss your feelings, be thankful you changed your mind.
17 ? You have a whole world of things to do before babies.
