Thank you thats why i decided this year to go to college except for doing nothing like most of my family who are on benefits and most of them were teenagers when they had children :)

Good for you. I am sure you will do really well. O0 O0 O0

thanks I'm studying animal care as i dont want to study anything to do with children ;D My heart is set on animals anyway ::)

I had my two at 31 and 33. It was the right age for me. Everybody's different. I feel very humbled reading some of your posts, sorry for your losses. It was relatively plain sailing for me and I feel very lucky xx

I had my first at 23 and am expecting my fifth in December - when I will be 33 :)

Hope everything goes well for you in December Loupylou O0. My 9th was born last December 28th. Its nice to see others on here who have more children than the 'norm' it makes me feel a little less odd. All of my kids are so different in personalities and interests All individuals but all loveable

All the best

14 is a ridiculous age to be having children, at 14 your still a child! you have no financial support unless your on benefits i auume, you miss out on going out clubbing etc because your stuck at home with a kid, you prob cant afford nice things such as clothes as nappies and milk are more important. i used to think 19 was when i wanted a kid, but deffo not anymore i wanna see more of the world, and do more things before i settle down.

Eek! At 14 you haven't even finished growing so I can't imagine it's completely good for your body to have a baby. One of my friends' mum had her when she was 17, her gran had her mum at 18 and my friend had a baby not long after she was 20. I think there's a great great grandmother too?!?

I'm just 27 and now we're starting to contemplate it. Just bought a house, have a good job. Wedding, well, I think we would both ditch that in favour of a family!

I'm 27 with no kids yet, but maybe next year. My sister is only 15 and is pregnant and her baby is due in January. I think 15 is too young, but if you have your parents / family and of course the father who are supportive then I think young mums can be fine. Unfortunately my sister doesn't have the support of our mum...but the rest of us are all here to support her :)

Woah, 12 years old? My daughter is that age and it's scary to think that she could get pregnant. That would make me a grandma at 30, only just 30 may I add (still trying to get ny head around the next decade thing ;D).

I had my daughter at 17 and don't regret anything. I was a single paernt but met my current partner when she was 10 months old and we now have a 2 and a half year old boy. I always worked to support her and I felt better about myself as I was supporting her and not the state.

Omg people who have kids at like 12/13/14/15/etc are crazy and stupid imo. Eww I can't imagine having a kid at my age ? Why have human babies when you can have a pet instead :D

Forgot to say that having kids is brilliant, but at this moment in time I am de-lousing my hair which is not so brilliant >:(

Thanks kids for the unexpected presents............ ::)

Too right :D I think I may now be expecting again :o so I'll have to put a test in. I am an only child and find havin a busy noisy household loads of fun.

I was class as high risk aftr my 4th chil I suffr with low platlts maning basically that I hav an highr risk of bling; a that to th fact that with ach futur prgnancy my womb may not clos up proprly, furthr incrasing th risk of bling I' say it's prtty high risk. I havn't bn but off by th octors avic an I battl tooth an nail to hav my 5th chil born at hom. I put my trust an faith in Go's provinc an am still hr to tll th tal 9 kis on ( possibly 10!) ;D I wouln't chang my cisions for anything.

Lost a baby at 16 through an accident
Had Bailey Miles Anthony at 18 - I turned 19 2 weeks after He was 10 days late born 24/6/03 6lb 9oz after 4hr 33 min labour
Had Joshua Gary at 20 - turned 21 8 weeks later He was induced at 37 weeks because I was very poorly my body wasn;t absorbing iron. He was 5lb 9oz 1 hr 30 mins.

I don't think anyone would ever have kids if they waited til they could afford it!

Suzie I think you are amazing, I'd love that many kids :D

I don't think I could cope with 10 kids! I am one of 7, though we lost our younger sister to cancer two years ago. I do like having so many brothers and sisters, but don't think I could cope being the mother, all the arguing and fighting we used to do!

Not knowing your personal circumstances I can only tell you that you are not alone in the high risk pregnancy stakes.

I was classed as high risk after my 4th child I suffer with low platelets meaning basically that I have an higher risk of bleeding; add that to the fact that with each future pregnancy my womb may not close up properly, further increasing the risk of bleeding I'd say it's pretty high risk. I haven't been but off by the doctors advice and I battled tooth and nail to have my 5th child born at home. I put my trust and faith in God's providence and am still here to tell the tale 9 kids on ( possibly 10!) ;D I wouldn't change my decisions for anything.

I suffered a miscarriage in January 2006 suffered with sciatica and struggled to get about but safely delivered our 5th little boy in December the same year it hasn't deterred me I have a wonderful husband and kids :smitten: and wouldn't change my life at all. Some people would class me and my family as crazy x8) but we class ourselves as very fortunate to be so highly blessed 2funny

Don't give up hope and I wish you all the luck in the world

My first pregnancy went well born alive and well. The second prenancy ended in a stillbirth sued the backside off them for gross negligence ;)I owe my life literally to the top consultant I almost died having my third child born prematurely. This did not put me off having number 4 though who was also premature. I am blessed with the children I have here in my home with another one loved and remembered each and every day. Have been tying for number five for over 3 years now if it happens it does if not I am lucky enough to have children.
I have what is called a bicornate uterus which is a division in my womb depending on which side the baby grows determins how far into pregnancy I can get. I also have group B strep which was 1 of the factors as to why I lost my 2nd child. During pregnancy I have to have very frequent scans I am seen fortnightly at hospital by my consultant. When I had my last son I did it my way ;) no pain relieve nothing Husband nearly missed it. Homebirth was my dream for my second baby I got there in the end well I was in hospital but I called the shots lol.
I envy you having so many children.

I'm 19 and no children, I agree that people at 14 should not be having children especially 12 :o

I had my son when I was 22
and my daughter when I was 33
so keeping my legs crossed when I get to 44

Pumpkinpiggie I take my hat off to you. :o I wish I had your determination. I have been fortunate enough to have relatively smooth sailing pregnancies. If I had been through what you've been through I am sure I'd have faltered before now. I can't tell you how much I envy your courage . I wish you and your family all the luck in the world and hope that if you do have any subsequent pregnancies that all goes well for you all and that you end up with a growing family. You are truely one amazing woman

All the best and lol
