if anyone knows of any hutches being sold cheaply or free please could you let me know they need to be close to where i live and probably deliver if possible

i have looked there b4 and they can be expensive will look though may come across a bargain

just looked some of them was £100 lol
the ones what were cheap lived about 100 miles away lol

http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=hutches

got some cheap-ish ones there! depends on how much you wanna spend

what ones were cheap lol couldnt see any £65 think i will have to get the hammer and nails out

because i will need quite a few i need really cheap ones, probably better of building them will need 5 +

thankyou, dont want you to think I'm being a tight arse but it will cost alot to get this set up so i have to cut costs somewhere and the hutches are going to be the most expensive to buy

nah, I don't think that lovey :).. I understand totally about the cutting costs bit...

Can get you plenty of wood and that! LOL, make your own! ;)

my partner works at a removals company so he can get wood from the workshop where they make crates, take me weeks to make them lol

yeah right dont think so, he will make one but not 5 + lol that it is being cheeky asking him lol
i may build a block of hutches will be easier than individuals lol

also what about warehouses? I mean the places in which pet shops get them from in the first place? I'm sure they get them next to nothing as they buy them in bulk?

I just looked in my own lcoal paper and found 2 hutches one for £8 and another for £10. do you have a local paper?

Just bought bobbin a new one for 70 the cheapest one ive seen is 40 i doubt youll get one for less unless its seconda hand hehe x

My husband made mine. I refused to pay hundreds of pounds for cages because i admit it,i'm tight as far as value for money goes ! We have what i call ' Piggy Towers' a 3 storey block of hutches.Must've only cost about £35-£40 thats everything.Would've cost us over £100 to buy.
Must admit though,he has become more involved and more attached to the piggies. He wasn't really interested at first but he has fallen in love with rex's,so i dont need to butter him up anymore!
Just as well as have an expectant mum now ! Need an indoor block soon !
hee hee ! ;D

i think i will make some then i will get what i want
kay you got any pics of yours
thats the kind of thing i want

i will have a tower of 3 for sale soon but they won't go into a car and u live too far away.

as said before its much cheaper to make a bank of hutches. my hubby is currently building some into my shed. i will have paid 40 quid and will end up with 3 that are 6ft by 2ft that have dividers in them so if i need to i can have 6 3ft by2ft. and thats big. i know 4 of my girls will go into a full width together and i have 2 sows and 2 boars which will share a level with a mesh divider so they can still see each other and that leaves me with room for at least 4 more piggys ;D
