Hyperventilating Henry

My brother's GP, Henry, sometimes breaths loads quicker than my other GP, Gnasher. I don't understand this because Gnasher is older than him. Maybe he's freaking out about something, if guinea pigs do that. I am reasonably worried about this because when we bought him he was quite overweight and did this loads, but he isn't anymore but sometimes still has heavy breathing... help!

Laboured breathing needs to be checked by a vet. They will listen to his chest and look for signs of an infection, or fluid on the lungs. Sometimes something as simple as an allergy to the bedding can also cause this, but it really would be best to get him checked out asap to rule out anything more sinister.

Does he have a runny nose or runny/crusty eyes?
