That is a good and very relevant point ~ the age of his new owner, we can't expectt young lady of her age to have had the experience of us vintage (okay I speak for myself :) owners!
Hopefully this little pig will be found a lovely rescue friend

You might not want one for him, but guinea pigs are very sociable creatures and he will likely be happier with company of his own kind while you are at school and out with friends
But that is just my advice.
