Ah the joy of pre-teen children in the house.

Me: DD1 I think before you settle down to cuddle Ruby, you should probably get your homework finished.
DD1: It's ok. I am doing my homework.
Me: Really? Because from where I am standing it looks like you are cuddling Ruby, and I am fairly sure 'guinea pig cuddling' is not part of your homework.
DD1: Of course it isn't. Not everyone is lucky enough to have guinea pigs like Ruby you know.
Me: Hmm, well anyway, what homework are you currently doing.
DD1: French.
Me: How is cuddling Ruby related to your French homework?
DD1: Well we are supposed to be studying for our French adjectives test on Wednesday, and I am talking to Ruby in French and using lots of adjectives to describe how amazing she is.
Me: So Ruby speaks French now does she?
DD1: Fluently.

Ahh the multilingual Guinea Pig... Ruby is so talented your daughter seems to have made the most of the 'training aids' available to her
Associations or Music can increase a persons memory & recall. Each association, piece or song is associated with the particular topic or question & when your daughter thinks of Ruby in her exams etc, all the studying &answers they done together should come flooding back.
