Hi Patch i think you mentioned earlier on in the posts that your mum breeds rabbits I'm surprised that yours lives with Patch is there anyother Rabbits the Rabbit could share with? Rather than the patch? Also i think maybe the raccit would better on food designed for rabbits rather than guinea pig food as they dont need vit c like the piggies ..

you have come onto this forum asking for ways you can help to make your guinea pigs life better and we give you the advice regard having a bunny and guinea together which is not advised, and it seems to go in one ear and out of the other,if your not willing to listen to people who have seen the damage done to guinea pigs by been with a rabbit even after yrs of them being together, then I'm not sure how we can help and what advice you want us to give to you..
my advice would be to get the guinea a friend ie another guinea same sex and a baby and get him his own hutch away from the rabbit

Claire that sounds great put the rabbit with another rabbit friend and get Patch friend of the same sex to avoid babies.. There are amny rescues whom will help you get another piggie and they will give you all the help and advice as well that you need.
What other info did you need advice on as on your first post yous said you need help.x

Is it a hoax?
The posters interests and occupation seem at odds with the stated age...

I picked up on this too, it is a bit strange.......................
Piggies need to be kept with other piggys, they can't socialise with a rabbit. !RABBITS CAN KILL PIGGIES!
I thought everyone knew this, It really annoys me when people put piggys health and lives at unnessecarry risk by keeping them with pigges!
Me too Vikx, the poster does seem a little.....different, are there more than one person posting? A 11 year old hunter/cooker does seem odd.rolleyesrolleyes

it is weird?/ even more so as a few of us have said this & no comment has been made back ?/

one of the rabbits i have used to live with a piggie and the piggie ended up dying because the rabbit ate all the food, rabbits are bigger and stronger so will take up the majority of the food.also piggies have different food requirements to rabbits

i have to admit this story seems a little odd especially as the advice isnt being listened to!

but i really thnk you should seperate the rabbit and guinea pig to help them both

shut up * wa do * know about me i do have a rabbit and a guinea pig so shhhh

If you really do have a guinea pig and a rabbit then you need to listen to the advice given. If your mom really does keep rabbits then she should know you don't keep them with guinea pigs.
Perhaps she would like to come on here, she should be supervising you on the computor anyway.

still think this is strange as no post since 4th feb from patch2010 then back to day

I've just picked up on this thread, I would have to agree with everyone else to be honest it does seem a bit strange.

Also if this person says their mum breeds rabbits then surely she can give and would know all the information needed?!?

It would be nice to think this is legitimate but things don't add up and unfortunately not everyone is genuine :(

i think you are very very rude and cheeky and your not worth us wasting are time on you if alls you want to do is ignore advise, some people on here do actually listenmalletheadgrrrr
