The vet didn't think it was the right time to put him down, he checked him over and told me he had mites >.<, which is why he has scabs, obviously low immune system, he's always pulled his fur out which can be a sign of either discomfort or boredom and he said once again, he's properly going to go in the next month if not sooner. I told him straight out if I could have more time with him without him suffering I would choose that over putting him to sleep... well... he's still with me.
Saturday morning I woke up in real pain, I walked into the pigs room and the pig was pop corning about :S he saw me and ran over to stand at the edge of his cage and wheek for some herbal hay which I gave him and he gladly gobbled up. I checked his behind and the poo slides out effortly, he stopped making any sort of noise other than vibrating when I stroked him or held him. I took him to the vet anyways because what do I know about his pain and as I said above, the vet (who has guinea pigs himself) thinks he has a little more time as he said that altho hes in a little pain, painkillers will help him with that and that he's still active, he was walking around the vets table...
I don't know, I guess he picked up on the fact I would rather him go naturally if possible... so... he's home right now and seems okay so far. He even climbed out his fleese and ran across our sofa to ask for a biscuit (we were dunking some in tea) lol.
I doubt it'll be long either way if he goes naturally of eventually I'll have to visit the vets for one last trip. Thank you for your messages, it has been hard but I just might have a few more days with him.
