Alicia
Adult Guinea Pig
Last time I looked after them was last April, and they had only had them for a few weeks and they were tiny. I didn't know if she still had them, she takes really good care of them but they are from pet shops and all of the pet shop guinea-pigs I've known of have died quite young, but she asked me to look after them for a week, and they are really big now. They are both boars, but I've forgotten their names
They are a lot more tame and friendly than last time and they both run to the side of the hutch to say hello. They are so lovely
The run they have is seperate from the hutch and their owner asked me to put them in the run if the weather is ok, but its been raining the past few days so they haven't been out the hutch, normally, with my guinea-pigs, if its raining I let them out anyway because their hutch is attached to the run so if they don't want to go out they can go in the hutch but I don't want to put the other guinea-pigs in the run if they don't have much shelter, and they have a little igloo but I don't know if that would really be enough against the rain.
Would some tarpaulin over the top of the run be ok? Or would it still be bad because of the wet grass?
