Sorry to hear all this! I really don't think I could still be friends with someone if they put my pigs at risk like this.
I am going through something similar at the moment, my OH let my Teddy sow and boar out together and I just found out she's about 1-2 weeks away from giving birth! mallethead I've told him not to speak to me at all until the pups are here and healthy and so is my sow. I'm debating whether or not to let him come back from his parents until then as well and if anything happens to any of them, I'll really make him regret it!
So... on my list currently, is another VERY large cage just like the one he bought after his stupidity allowed Coconut and Cinnamon to have babies, not that I'd ever wish they weren't here now, but I was very worried about Cinnamon at the time, a new run, so many chews that you can't count them, loads of Veg, Alfalfa hay, some new water bottles... I could go on...
I think if yours are preg, she should contribute at least to their housing etc and... I think the fact that you are this concerned about their health and wellbeing means that they are very lucky to have you whether or not they are pregnant. So many people just don't care or don't care enough to learn about the proper care of their animals. You can proudly say you are not one of those "people". I think that the very fact you are here asking for advice on what to do shows that.
