I know :( I'm new to piggies but they are so fascinating, innocent, adorable... its so sad when they aren't treated right. My husband says i treat ours like royalty but all gps deserve that imo :( I hope they can find transport to Leeds
 
This was the provided photo, I'll ask in the morning for more and why they're selling :)
And it is very frustrating! I'm going to keep on at my mum to take them in temporarily, as I don't realistically see transport to leeds happening sadly :(

I'm in Kent but my husband would shoot me if I got anymore piggies. Call April Lodge, they will most likely take them.
 
Yes, April Lodge is meant to be amazing. They are beautiful. Its so tempting but my OH would go spare too :(
 
I'll try to call April Lodge in the morning and see if they can :) Would they be able to collect though? As I have no means of transport other then the train :(

I'm almost at the point of just buying them in secret and sneaking them in when my mums out...she probably wouldn't even notice! Poor dears :(
 
Thank you @piggyfan , I just wish I could do more to be honest, I'd love to take them in personally and give them all the love the clearly need! Fingers crossed TAG or April Lodge have room for them.
 
This is probably not of any help but ... i'm going up to Leeds tomorrow evening from Cambridge. Is there anyway to get them to me? I could potentially meet somewhere closer (within an hours drive of me) if that's at all helpful but it would have to be this evening?

I know how you feel seeing these pop up on for sale websites. I tried to rescue 2 pygmy hedgehogs last week as someone was giving them away for free on Preloved, was too late though.
 
Thank you so much for the offer but the woman who originally offered from Leeds is no longer replying to messages so I feel like it was a bit of an empty offer :( thank you for the offer regardless, it's very kind :)
 
That's a shame, I could see if Wood Green could take them if you think it's possible to get them to me in Cambridge. Let me know if you hear from her again. My family are in Leeds so I do visit fairly often and could look after them myself for a couple of weeks if need be (although I might not be able to part with them then!).
 
I've not had any offers for transport other then yourself so I'm thinking transport to Cambridge is going to be tough :( There has been some recent developments though, a few rabbit people have commented pointing out his errors and I think there's a few people ready to step in (from my area), hopefully someone who knows their stuff will have space, still waiting on a reply from TAG though and have emailed the RSPCA (although my local one normally takea few days to reply)
 
I'm glad that other people are showing an interest, fingers crossed they're in safe hands soon.
 
Update on this, the 'female' was missexed and is in fact a male, so the pair consists of two males! Such a relief, although they're still looking for a home but at least there's no babies in the mix, slightly relieved
 
The owner replied to the comments and confirmed that actually he'd been misinformed, a small relief. I'm still very tempted but I'm so pleased there's no inbred babba's in the equation
 
I started reading this thinking the worst at what could happen but now I'm happy!
with the situation with your mum... couldn't you tell her you'll only have them temporarily and then try to rehome them when you get them (or even end up keeping them if your mum eventually warms to them?)
 
I tried to say I'd keep them until I could find suitable homes but she's still saying no sadly :( They still haven't been bought as far as I'm aware and the owner has lowered the price, if he lowers it much more I'm worried the wrong kind of people will be attracted so I'm keeping an eye on it. If the price falls any lower I'll take them myself and just take the tirade :)
