Hi all, what rubbish weather the uk is having, what are you upto (piggies and members) on this soggy wet day? Hope our over the pond friends and piggies are having better weather.
After getting drenched just fetching my boys veg bowl this morning I decided they should come in from that horrid rain and spend a few days (whilst I'm on my own) living in my living room...they seem to love it.
Kell.

Thank you piggyfan they like their tent :) But I don't think they will like the Hoover much in a mo :(
(I've done the living room before I brought them in)

Aww that's beautiful Kell! I love the star fleece :) Your boys as usual are scrummy and I want to raspberry their bellies!:love:
It look's like they are having a fab time :D

I got a bit soaked changing the piggies fleece today (when I had to shake it outside), so I had to result to bringing an umbrella in the garden!
Will bring them indoors for a run around.

@katie-elizabeth thank you, yep that's my Oreo climbing he's a cheeky piggy :) that's why I don't use the hay rack unless I'm about (they love the thing) incase he climbs in and gets stuck like that poor piggy did :(
@Flutterby thank you, I will blow a raspberry on each of their bellies for you once the F10 has dried :) @MissBubblegum thank you, they are popcorning all over the place and chatting lots I think they are having a great mini holiday

shhhhh...... no one tell my hubby that he has piggies camping in the living room ;)

I thought of you and Ruth this morning when I had to dash outside to sort my boys out in the rain. I thought I bet your both getting wet today too. I'm meant to be cleaning their hutch out but were having a storm at the mo so I'm staying inside of now :)
It was quite funny though rushing out into the garden this morning when I brought them in I had to almost dive inside the hutch to get hold of them as quickly as poss they didn't get wet at all but I looked like a dripping wet frog wearing pjs I swear my neighbour think I'm crackers lol

That is so cute! At least someone is taking advantage of the weather! They look adorable and very cheeky!

Just got drenched running out to shut the shed door, it's crazy rain and wind here! I think it's an afternoon for piggy baths! (Not in the rain I might add!) .

That's a lovely set up. The weather is just awful.

I had a lie in, then a lovely chat to a good friend and am now watching Friends before putting a vegan chilli in the slow cooker for tonight. Should start cleaning soon too really.

Thank you, I bathed my boys yesterday it was the first time they had had a little bath Oreo and fudge didn't like it at all pip was quite happy to just sit in the water. Do yours like a bath?

Hiya, they don't mind at all. I think they like the interaction and it breaks the day up for them I guess? I had one who actually used to lie down in the shallow warm water and spread her bag legs out. We used to say it was her equivalent of a spa day! But she was not a normal guinea lol! The others just accept it. Two lie on my lap and chill out whilst I dry them with the hair dryer. The boy doesn't like the dryer much!

They do get used to it :-)

I had my first lie in years today :) good on you @helen105281 I'm meant to be cleaning too which I am just very slowly ha ha
Enjoy your tea (slow cookers are great.....chuck it all in and off you go)
I'm going to be naughty and eat my tea in front of the tv tonight whilst watching British bake off from the planner.....peace and quite.....bliss :) (ps I am missing my children though)

Unfortunately cleaning. Kasper chased the hoover and me earlier on. Pigs are now asleep :D

That would of been a great photo :)
I've not tried a hair dryer I will do next time and see what they think I just washed their bottoms yesterday because they have started piddling at the top of the ramp in the last few days and happily sitting in it too  their fur around their bots was yucky so had to bath them, I'm having to change the newspaper at least twice a day in that spot I'm thinking of starting a thread on tips on what I could use that would soak the urine up best, i think fleece would work best but it's a thin odd shape to add fleece too.

Haha, just to tell you, Lola is on my lap right now, and she's says hello (as she jumps up at the keyboard), she's amazed by it!

A shallow tray with some paper pellets like papelit? I seriously only use 2cm worth in my trays and it lasts a week if poops get removed :)

I know! I regret not taking one as she was my 'once in a lifetime' piggy, but I was usually soaking wet and always a bit worried she may drown if I left her for a second. She was incontinent as she got older so feel your pain re dirty butts! How about puppy pads? They really can quite filthy sometimes can't they!

Hello Lola :) that's very cute bless her. Oreo likes my ipad the other two will sit on my lap but not happily like he does he's defiantly a GF fan I show him the photos of the other piggies on here :) he's impressed with Ruth's ( @Flutterby ) Mario :)

I've got puppy pads under the newspaper Hun do you think its safe to put them on top as that would work at lot better i just don't know if there safe if they started chewing them :tu:
She will always be in your memories

It's a miserable day here too in Scotland. I cleaned out the piggies cage and got soaked..........not by the rain as mine are indoor piggies. By the shower head! I was washing their litter trays in the bath and I lay down the shower head in the bath then put a litter tray in to rinse it and hit the shower head that flipped round and I got soaked! :lol!:

All guineas washed and dry and having treats for good behaviour! They LOVE melon! Only allowed a little but the focus on their faces as they ate it was adorable. None misbehaved, no one cried or pooped or fidgeted.. Good piggies!

Tried to take some pigtures of bath time but dropped iPhone in the dirty water :yikes: It appears to be fine but decided best not to take any...oops!
