I’m worried about the inevitable happening again. When we get another companion, one will die first and the other one will have to grieve.
Of course I don't know Ophelia, so I may be off the mark, but other than being poignant, this strikes me as being sweet, in a way. And also Ophelia having trust and faith in you. She's definitely communicating. This is very poignant. Now, whenever I go into the room, Ophelia immediately comes out to see me.
What a lovely reply. Thank you.Of course I don't know Ophelia, so I may be off the mark, but other than being poignant, this strikes me as being sweet, in a way. And also Ophelia having trust and faith in you. She's definitely communicating.
A good long while ago when I was inpatient, I had a bereaved solo piggy who was staying at my neighbours (bunny Slaves). On a half-day visit home, I went across to see litte Mucki while the neighbours were out, and she came out of her hidey to see me. Later my neighbour said that when she came home and went into that room, Mucki came out too all expectant and happy but then went right back in again - wrong person!
I hope you can find a new and suitable companion for Ophelia soon. Sending vibes of support for Ophelia.
